About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Data Product Policy Senior Lead (Senior Lead Data Product Management Consultant) to establish a world-class team empowering leaders with the data and insights needed to realize strategic priorities. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Wells Fargo HR Data Transformation team! We are responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of HR data products. This role will be critical to building the foundations of a modern people analytics data environment. You will join a growing team and be responsible for aligning data product delivery to industry standards, Wells Fargo data management policy, and data governance standards.
In this role, you will:
Ability to travel up 5% of the time

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$159,000.00 - $279,000.00

You will join a growing team and be responsible for aligning data product delivery to industry standards, Wells Fargo data management policy, and data governance standards.
In this role, you will:
- Play a critical role in effectively managing complex data product initiatives, including those that are cross-functional with broad impact, and act as key participant in large-scale planning driving data enablement and capabilities across platforms and utilities
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, horizontal data product initiatives that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors while adhering to data management standards
- Make decisions and influence policy for new data patterns. Requires solid understanding of data, analytics, and business needs to inform prioritization, roadmap, and architecture design.
- Drive consultative engagements with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior leadership, ensuring data product control standards enable evolving business needs.
- Serve as a strategic liaison between data management, governance, end users, and data engineering teams throughout the data product life cycle
- 7+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of data management / governance experience
- 4+ years of experience working with data product frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in an agile delivery model
- Demonstrated examples of influencing horizontal data management / governance policy
- Experience leading cross functional initiatives
