A Day in the Life:

The Senior Java Developer will build scalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performing web applications.

• Build and maintain high-performance systems using Java and J2EE
• Develop and optimize serverless applications using AWS Lambda for monthly portfolio processing
• Design and implement RESTful services to integrate internal leasing applications with tax calculation engines
• Write and manage complex SQL queries and data structures within a Postgres environment
• Develop new functionality within the core leasing and tax service codebases
• Use Postman to test and validate data transmission across the entire lease lifecycle
• Collaborate daily using IntelliJ and GitHub for version control and code management
• Engage in paired programming and peer code reviews to ensure successful project delivery
• Work with Business Analysts to translate story maps and requirements into technical solutions
• Execute comprehensive test plans to ensure accuracy of financial and tax data
• Deliver code updates within the SDLC to meet aggressive project timelines and regulatory changes
• Align all daily development activities with CST working hours
