Key Responsibilities• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java (preferably Java 11+)• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-performance applications• Implement APIs and integrations with third-party platforms (ERP, CRM, etc.)• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and design patterns• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement efforts• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term fixes• Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation• Mentor junior developers and lead by example in adopting modern engineering practices
Required Qualifications• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development• Strong understanding of OOP, multithreading, REST APIs, and microservices architecture• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data)• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and distributed systems• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications• Exposure to SAP or legal/professional services domain is a plus• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, or React) is a bonus• Agile/Scrum experience in a product development environment
