About the Role:
CACI is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our dynamic team dedicated to providing comprehensive Integrated Product Support (IPS) services for the Tactical Integrated Ground Suite (TIGS) System of Systems (SoS). Your expertise will be vital in ensuring warfighting readiness by enhancing the operational availability and mission effectiveness of deployed and future TIGS SoS.

Responsibilities:

  • Issue Resolution: Utilize systems analysis techniques and procedures to resolve IT hardware and software infrastructure issues.

  • Problem Analysis: Analyze and troubleshoot problems across servers, storage, network connectivity, and user systems.

  • System Administration: Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure environments.

  • Security Protocols: Establish and maintain security protocols and user access controls.

  • System Upgrades: Apply security patches and perform operating system upgrades to ensure system integrity.

  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor and ensure the appropriate function of hardware, software, and system specifications.

  • Project Support: Support planning, implementation, and deployment of new infrastructure projects.

  • Security Standards: Maintain security standards across the technical environment.

  • Documentation: Document all configuration changes and system specifications for assigned infrastructure.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teams to maintain optimal infrastructure performance and availability.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance and obtain SCI.

  • Strong experience with VMware ESXi and vSphere.

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs, routing, and firewalls.

  • Experience with private cloud platforms such as OpenShift.

  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Desired:

  • An active DoD TS/SCI clearance.

  • Expert-level knowledge of VMware vSphere 8.x, vSAN, and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall management (Cisco Catalyst/Nexus).

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200-$158,100
