Position Summary:
The Information Technology team at Perforce is searching for a Senior IT Project Manager to join the team. The Senior IT Project Manager at Perforce has comprehensive knowledge of IT project management principles and Agile methodologies. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role leads cross-functional teams to deliver complex initiatives in fast-paced, iterative environments. The individual is expected to manage diverse project scopes, adapt to evolving priorities, and drive continuous improvement across multi-functional business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex IT projects with minimal supervision, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance team capabilities.
- Act with a high degree of autonomy in decision-making and problem-solving across diverse project scopes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party deliverables as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating project outcomes and recommending process enhancements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal instruction on day-to-day tasks and general guidance on new assignments.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and mentor junior colleagues.
- Proficient in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a technical environment with understanding of IT infrastructure, hybrid cloud architecture and software development.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
