What Is The Opportunity?

The Nisos Intelligence Team, known as Pandion, executes Nisos’ Intelligence Services offerings.  Pandion’s cadre of Senior Intelligence Analysts (SIAs) are experienced in providing actionable analysis for a diverse set of challenging issues, ranging from geopolitical to cybersecurity. SIAs can craft and deliver finished intelligence products across most of our service lines but might need to outsource portions of the work to other team members who are specialists in some areas.  In their career trajectory, SIAs are working to further hone and refine their already substantial investigative, technical, and writing skills.

Who You Are & What You Bring

The SIA should have at least 5-8 years of recent experience as an all-source intelligence analyst in the defense or intelligence community, or in an investigative analytical role in law enforcement or a private sector organization. The SIA should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and will be expected to expertly execute the following activities:

  • Be an enthusiastic team player with a strong hands-on attitude; flexible and adaptable; a problem solver
  • Create and write analytic intelligence reports regarding acquired public datasets
  • Help evaluate new tools and datasets for integration into proprietary workflows or technology
  • Craft finished analytical products incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts to senior executives and other decision-makers
  • Effectively brief analytic findings to clients and articulate key recommendations or implications 
  • Identify, infiltrate, and monitor online communities of interest that are selling public data
  • Demonstrate strong skills in the collection, management, manipulation, and analysis of structured and unstructured data
  • Develop new data-driven methodologies and efficiencies to enable core Pandion workflows
  • Be adaptable and flexible in real-time to meet shifting client or organizational demands
  • Lead or support complex digital investigations
  • Employ OSINT techniques to collect and analyze public data
  • Continuously improve knowledge of current OSINT investigative methodologies and toolsets
  • Be comfortable and experienced crafting both tactical and strategic analysis
  • Experienced investigating and assessing the online footprint of an assorted range of entities (individuals, companies, nation states)
  • Fluency or proficiency in another language is a plus but not required

Where You’ll Work

While these positions report to our Alexandria, VA, headquarters office, our Pandion team is distributed nationwide, and full remote work opportunities are available.  You must be authorized to work in the United States.
