The Senior Insurance Accountant is primarily responsible for maintaining and properly accounting for all the premium, reinsurance, loss, and reserving transactions of one of our several insurance companies. This person will also research and review other accounting areas of the Insurance Company and be accountable for the preparation of financial statements which are accurate, complete and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least three years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of Statutory Accounting Principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong Excel skills
