Position Summary:
SHEIN (Style Link Logistics LLC) is seeking a Senior Innovation and Design Specialist II to collaborate with the warehouse management team to understand space utilization requirements.
Job Description:
Collaborate with the warehouse management team to understand space utilization requirements. Analyze current warehouse designs and processes to identify areas for improvement. Design and develop optimized warehouse layouts. Collaborate with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure alignment with operational goals. Conduct feasibility studies for proposed design changes and present findings to management. Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current warehouse processes. Implement best practices in warehouse design, including storage solutions, workflow efficiency, and safety standards. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in warehouse technologies and methodologies. Provide technical support and training to warehouse staff on new layouts and processes. Develop and optimize warehouse layout designs to maximize storage capacity and streamline material flow. 20% domestic business travel required to IN to monitor the project onsite.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or a foreign equivalent in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management or a related field of study, plus 3 years of postbaccalaureate experience in a job offered, or related job titles.
Requires 3 years of experience with:
1. warehouse design, planning, and implementation,
2. warehouse operations and supply chain management
3. creating and implementing optimized warehouse layouts with CAD software and warehouse management system (WMS)
4. Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
5. safety regulations and standards applied in warehouse environments
6. modern storage solutions (e.g., automated systems, racking systems, and shelving options)
7. conducting time and motion studies to identify process bottlenecks
