EXL is looking for an exceptional Infrastructure Architect skilled in a diverse range of enterprise Multicoud/datacenter technologies. Strong expertise in Cloud/On-premise data center operations and software-driven automation. This role blends traditional infrastructure management with modern engineering practices, including Python development and AI-enabled automation to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Heavy focus on security and compliance is a key responsibility of this role. This role will involve translating business requirements into technical solutions, meeting security, compliance, SLA, disaster recovery, and operational components. Must have experience leading large technical teams. The position will architect, design and lead disaster recovery/business continuity services, including periodic DR/BCP test exercises.
ResponsibilitiesThis role is an escalation point for 24 x 7 systems and staff are on call to support production systems. This position also requires oversight and completing work during maintenance windows (nights and weekends).

- Experience industry compliance and security requirements, SOC1/2, SOX, HIPAA, HiTrust, PCI DSS, ISO27001
Qualification and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in AWS and Azure cloud
- 7+ years Managing VMWare Environments
- 9+ years enterprise hardware (Storage, Compute, Network)
- Strong experience in Python, Terraform, Ansible and Powershell scripting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrate strong commitment to process and controls
- Experience managing financial budgets
- BS in Computer Science, or equivalent
