  • Think beyond the box: “We’ve always done it that way” is not a phrase uttered often at our office. We create creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Don’t give up: We learn from our challenges and see them for what they are; great building blocks to an amazing brand story.
  • Speak up: We communicate clearly and directly because we care deeply. Communication is the bedrock of our community.

The Role:

The Senior HubSpot Administrator is the strategic owner of Cart.com’s HubSpot platform, responsible for ensuring the system is scalable, reliable, and aligned with go-to-market objectives. This role partners closely with Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and IT to design and optimize automation, data models, integrations, and reporting that drive pipeline growth and operational excellence.

As the internal HubSpot expert, you will influence system architecture decisions, establish governance best practices, and proactively identify opportunities to improve performance and scalability across the funnel.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the overall HubSpot platform architecture across Marketing, Sales, Service, and Operations Hubs.
  • Design, build, and optimize advanced workflows for lead capture, scoring, routing, lifecycle management, and nurturing.
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, properties, pipelines, and automation to support evolving GTM needs.
  • Partner with Marketing and Revenue Operations to align HubSpot functionality with demand generation, ABM, and sales enablement strategies.
  • Manage and troubleshoot integrations with downstream systems (e.g., CRM, data warehouse, enrichment and attribution tools).
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into funnel performance, attribution, and revenue metrics.
  • Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and compliance with governance and privacy standards (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, opt-in management).
  • Document processes, enforce naming conventions, and establish best practices for system usage and change management.
  • Stay current on HubSpot product updates and recommend enhancements that improve performance and scalability.

Who You Are:

  • A strategic systems thinker who designs for long-term scalability, not short-term fixes.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong bias for clean data and well-documented processes.
  • A trusted cross-functional partner who communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, curious, and continuously looking for ways to optimize workflows and reporting.
  • Comfortable serving as the subject matter expert and final decision-maker for HubSpot configuration.

What You’ve Done:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and scaling HubSpot in a complex B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Deep expertise across HubSpot Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and Operations Hub.
  • Proven experience designing advanced automation, lifecycle logic, and CRM data models.
  • Strong background supporting Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience improving data hygiene, governance, and system integrations across GTM tech stacks
  • Track record of driving process improvements that increase pipeline efficiency and conversion rates
  • Experience working in a multi-product or multi-business unit environment (preferred—aligns well to Cart.com structure)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus

Nice to Haves:

  • HubSpot certifications (Admin, Marketing Operations, Reporting, or Integrations).
  • Experience supporting RevOps or enterprise go-to-market teams.
  • Exposure to BI tools, SQL, or warehouse-based reporting environments.
  • Previous ownership of a HubSpot implementation, migration, or large-scale re-architecture.
  • Background in high-growth SaaS, eCommerce, or commerce enablement organizations.
  • Exposure to government or regulated sales motions

Currently, Cart.com does not intend to hire candidates who will need, now or in the future, Cart.com sponsorship through any non-immigrant visa category such as the H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, or TN.

All hiring is contingent on eligibility to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or transfer visas for applicants.

Cart.com is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
