The role:

The HRIS Manager (Remote) is responsible for overseeing the implementation, operation, and maintenance of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) within the organization. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of HR data, optimizing HR processes, and providing technical support to the HR team. At Simtra, HRIS consists of:

The responsibilities:

  • System Management: Oversee and maintain the optimal function of HRIS, including installation, customization, development, maintenance, and data management.
  • Process Workflow: Build and maintain online forms for collecting required HR data to fulfill New Hire, Change, and Termination process across multiple systems
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the security and integrity of HR data through appropriate role access, integration maintenance, and regular audits.
  • Reporting: Create and generate various HR reports as needed by the organization.
  • Training: Train HR staff on the proper use and benefits of HRIS.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR, IT, and management to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for HRIS, including troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Project Management: Lead HRIS upgrade projects and system integrations.
  • Compliance: Ensure the HRIS complies with all relevant laws and company policies.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed user manuals and system guidelines.

Required qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience-General: Minimum 7 years’ experience in HRIS management; supervisory experience.
  • Experience-Integration: Minimum 2 years’ experience leading and successfully integrating HRIS.
  • Skills: Proficient in system administration. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communicator and collaborator. Ability to lead and prioritize multiple HRIS projects.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience-Dayforce: Experience managing Dayforce Payroll, WFM, and other HR modules
  • Experience-Microsoft Dynamics: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Human Resources.
  • Integration: Experience setting up and managing integrations between Dayforce and other systems including Benefit carriers

Working Conditions:

  • This position can be located at Bloomington, Indiana facility OR Remote based.
  • May require occasional travel for training or system implementation.

The pay range reflected represents what we reasonably expect to pay for this job.  The pay offered will depend on factors such as the candidate’s education, experience, skills and geographical location.  In addition to base pay, employees are eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan and employee ownership plan.  Eligible employees also receive a comprehensive and highly competitive benefits package, including a variety of health, retirement, caregiving, emotional wellbeing, and other flexible benefits – plus elective options to support the diverse needs of our workforce.

Salary Range $144,000 - $198,000 annually.
