We are actively hiring for a Senior HRIS Manager - Remote
Your Role: The Sr. Manager, HRIS provides strategic and operational leadership for the organization’s HR technology ecosystem, including core HRIS platforms and ancillary HR systems that support engagement, reporting, analytics, and workforce insights. This role owns the strategy, governance, and ongoing evolution of HR systems such as Workday, Qualtrics, Power BI reporting, and other HR technology tools that enable people data, insights, and decision-making across the enterprise.
This role is responsible for evaluating new functionality, prioritizing adoption, and ensuring disciplined governance across configuration, data access, reporting, and release management. The Sr. Manager, HRIS ensures these systems are stable, compliant, well-integrated, and intentionally designed to improve the employee and leader experience.
Your Work:
- Owns the overall strategy and operational leadership for HR systems, including Workday and ancillary HR technologies such as engagement platforms, reporting and analytics tools, and workforce insight solutions.
- Leads evaluation, prioritization, and controlled adoption of new functionality across HR systems, including AI-enabled features that impact data, automation, reporting, and decision support in compliance with the organization’s governance standards.
- Establishes and enforces governance standards for HR system configuration, integrations, data management, reporting, security, and release management.
- Oversees system configuration, testing, and deployment to ensure changes are introduced in a controlled manner that protects system stability, data integrity, and the employee experience.
- Provides strategic oversight of employee engagement technology, survey design platforms, and feedback systems to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and actionable insights.
- Owns HR reporting and analytics platforms, including dashboards and workforce metrics, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and usability for HR, leaders, and the board.
- Partners with IT, Legal, Security, and HR process owners to ensure responsible use of HR technology, compliance with internal standards, and appropriate controls around data access and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Works with Change Management and Communications parters to translates HR technology capabilities into clear communication, training, and change management plans to support adoption and effective use by HR teams and leaders.
- Manages vendor relationships across the HR technology landscape and coordinates with internal technology partners on integrations, enhancements, and support models.
- Leads, develops, and evaluates HRIS staff to ensure appropriate capacity, skills, and operational effectiveness across HR systems.
Required Experience, Education and Skills
- 10+ years of related work experience, including 3+ years leading teams, enterprise-wide programs, or large cross-functional initiatives.
- BA/BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on HRIS platform expertise: Deep experience with Workday, including configuration, security, testing, and support.
- HR data, reporting, and analytics: Experience with data governance, reporting, dashboards, audits, and data quality, plus translating business questions into usable insights.
- System implementation and enhancement work: Experience leading or supporting HR system implementations, upgrades, releases, and optimization efforts across modules and business processes.
- Compliance, controls, and security: Experience handling sensitive employee data, access controls, audit support, and policy/compliance requirements within HR systems.
- Project, program and change management: Proven success managing enterprise projects, timelines, risks, budgets, testing cycles, change impacts, and stakeholder communication.
- Cross-functional stakeholder partnership: Experience partnering with HR, payroll, IT, finance, security, compliance, and vendors to define requirements and deliver process improvements.
- Core HR functional knowledge: Strong understanding of HR processes such as org structures, compensation, benefits, recruiting, employee lifecycle events, performance, and talent data.

The national average salary range for this position is $160,155.00-$177,950.00. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $160,155.00-$213,550.00.
