Salary:
The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000 a year. DigniFi salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. About the Role
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll own critical services and user interfaces that power DigniFi’s embedded financing platform. You’ll architect and implement backend systems and modern web applications, mentor other engineers, and help drive technical strategy as we scale our platform into a suite of domain-driven microservices.
What You Will Do:
Backend Development
- Own design and development of backend microservice in Java and Ruby.
- Define API contracts and service boundaries across multiple systems.
- Optimize performance and reliability using sound algorithmic and data structure principles.
- Design and evolve data models (MySQL) for scalability and maintainability.
- Lead improvements to our Kubernetes and Docker microservice environments, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS infrastructure (SQS/SNS, EC2, S3).
- Implement event-driven patterns for asynchronous workflows.
- Architect and implement responsive, accessible interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with design to maintain and evolve our component library and design system.
- Drive performance and UX improvements through thoughtful optimization and experimentation.
Technical Leadership
- Mentor teammates through code reviews and design discussions.
- Help shape coding standards, testing practices, and architectural direction.
- Partner with Product and other stakeholders to translate business goals into technical outcomes.
- Identify and lead efforts to reduce technical debt and improve developer productivity.
Who You Are:
- 8+ years of professional full-stack experience (preferably in SaaS or fintech).
- Deep expertise in Java (Spring Boot) development.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or React frontend development.
- Expertise in the AWS ecosystem and cloud architecture.
- Proficient in designing and scaling cloud-based microservices on AWS.
- Comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives and mentoring peers.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and observability best practices.
- Pragmatic problem solver who can balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
- Bachelor’s in CS or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Kubernetes certification is a plus.
