As our Senior Frontend Engineer on the Growth team, you will be responsible for building and optimizing user-facing features that drive user activation, engagement, and retention. You'll work closely with product, design, and analytics to implement A/B tests, improve key conversion metrics, and create delightful user experiences that help more people discover and adopt our product:

• Deliver 2-3 A/B-tested user-facing features each quarter that improve activation or engagement

• Improve overall site performance and accessibility scores across critical flows

• Champion and implement reusable component patterns within our frontend system

• Partner with QA to reduce front-end related bugs in production by 25%, and to help improve our code coverage on our website repo and desktop applications

• Mentor mid-level engineer toward senior expectations

Our ideal candidate likely has:

• Experience: You have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with 4+ years focused on frontend development, building beautiful user-facing products across the full stack from database to UI.

And strengths in the following areas:

• Technical Skills: You’re an expert in frontend technologies such as Typescript, Javascript, and React. You have a strong foundation in software engineering principles that prioritize high-quality, maintainable code that adheres to best practices.

  You're able to identify problems, propose solutions, and make informed decisions to drive forward our technical efforts. You're comfortable dealing with ambiguity and can think critically to make decisions that benefit the company and our users.

• AI Enthusiast: You believe AI will revolutionize how we work as well as the experiences that we create for our customers. Driven by passion and curiosity, you leverage AI to dramatically increase your own productivity and the impact of your team.

• Remarkable Quality: You produce work that is striking, worthy of attention, and a contribution to the state of the art.

Our US-based starting salaries for this role range from $122,400 - $191,000 USD. Our Canada-based starting salaries for this role range from $134,000 - $189,000 CAD. Our LatAm-based starting salaries for this role range from $81,600 - $114,600 USD. ****The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and company stock options.

You might notice our salary ranges are quite broad - that's because our talented workforce is distributed across North and South America. We tailor our compensation to each location to make sure we're competitive in every market.

For team members outside of the US we employ and pay through an Employer of Record (EOR). We take a location-based pay approach and compensation for this role is dependent on several factors such as location, work experience, job-related skills, business needs, and market demands.
