Job Summary: The Senior FP&A Analyst supports global business planning, financial analysis, forecasting, reporting and accounting functions. This role needs to gain an understanding of our business and the associated cost drivers. The Senior Analyst must have an understanding of each of our product lines and the related risks that will impact the business meeting its financial goals. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides consistent reporting on key business financial performance across all business units; maintains financial and operational KPI reports.
- Support the annual budgeting process and prepare monthly budget vs. actual and year-over-year reports.
- Provides quality analysis, insight and financial information to management.
- Develops strong working relationships and understanding of the company’s products and services, to facilitate highly effective teamwork through the business development and contract negotiation cycles.
- Support the reviews of the business performance and analyze the results.
- Prepares other financial reports or analysis, as required.
- Support ad hoc requests on an as needed basis.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Four-year degree in finance/accounting, plus a minimum five years of experience in a financial reporting or cost accounting environment.
- Specific previous experience with long-term contract accounting, foreign currency translation and financial planning preferred.
- Minimum of four years’ experience with general ledger, P&L and Balance Sheet. Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), cost accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
- Ability to interface with all levels of workers, management, internal and external auditors.
- Possess strong skills using Excel and PC based accounting systems.
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on maintaining excellent and accessible documentation.
- Ability to use a personal computer for extended periods of time.
- Exude a can-do attitude and possess a strong dedication to providing quality service to management.
- Strong organization and planning skills.

Cubic Pay Range:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00* + benefits.
*Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
