You will build and maintain the financial models behind the Risk Adjustment P&L, prepare monthly forecasts and management reporting, and turn complex financial and operational data into clear, decision-ready insights for audiences up to and including the C-suite. This role combines strong analytical and data capabilities with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, translating detailed analysis into the kind of concise, compelling narrative that executive leaders rely on to make decisions.

About Center of Excellence:

Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allow the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as a key financial analyst and business partner to the Risk Adjustment organization, building strong working relationships with functional leaders and senior stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain monthly revenue and expense forecasts for HealthEdge's Risk Adjustment P&L, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a clear understanding of underlying drivers
  • Build, maintain, and enhance complex financial models supporting monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning
  • Prepare monthly and year-to-date management reporting packages, including KPI tracking and variance analysis, with clear explanations of what is driving performance
  • Develop financial analyses, executive commentary, and presentation materials for monthly executive and operational reviews, and present findings directly to senior and C-suite leaders
  • Translate large, complex datasets into clear, well-organized narratives and visuals that support fast, confident decision-making by non-financial and executive audiences
  • Respond to complex, ad-hoc reporting and data requests from Risk Adjustment and Finance leadership, applying strong technical and analytical judgment
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders on system implementations, upgrades, and migrations impacting financial planning and reporting
  • Support the design and enhancement of automated reporting, dashboards, and data models to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy and timeliness
  • Contribute to a quantitative and qualitative analytics framework that integrates financial, operational, and performance data
  • Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and efficiency gains across forecasting, reporting, and analysis workflows
  • Surface risks, opportunities, and key business drivers to Risk Adjustment and Finance leadership in a clear, timely, and well-supported manner

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in Corporate FP&A, finance business partnering, or related analytical roles
  • Risk Adjustment experience within FP&A or a closely related healthcare finance function strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or similar subject area; Master's degree or MBA a plus
  • Strong understanding of P&L with an ability to link operational drivers to financial outcomes
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with demonstrated ability to distill complex data into clear, compelling insights for executive and C-suite audiences
  • Demonstrated experience preparing materials for and/or presenting directly to senior leadership; experience partnering with Product, Operations, or Healthcare-related teams is a plus
  • Strong, data-driven approach to problem-solving, with the judgment to know when a deeper analytical dive versus a fast, directional answer is needed
  • Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and rapidly changing priorities, taking an action-oriented and solution-focused approach
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a track record of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, complex formulas, large datasets); experience with SQL, BI tools, or automation platforms is a strong plus
  • Experience using Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) / Planning and Budgeting Cloud Solution preferred
