Who We Are
Gravwell is a full-stack security and observability platform built for people who need answers from their data—fast. Whether you're hunting threats, investigating incidents, or validating system health, Gravwell gives you the tools and performance to stay ahead. We're on a mission to simplify the SIEM experience without sacrificing power or flexibility.
About The Role
As the Senior Financial Operations Analyst, you will serve as the central nervous system for the company’s financial data. Reporting directly to the VP of Revenue Operations, you will bridge the gap between Sales, Marketing, and Finance. You will be responsible for the accuracy of managing company-wide department budgets and overseeing the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash cycle. This is a high-impact role that requires a blend of accounting precision and RevOps strategy.
What You'll Do
1. Accounting Operations, Month-end Close and Financial Reporting- Manage day-to-day accounting – entering transactions into QuickBooks, making payments, and monitoring bank and credit card activity, while ensuring compliance with good internal controls.
- Month/year-end close, maintaining accounting records, including account reconciliations and supporting documentation, to facilitate management review and independent audit.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement packages for management, Board, and investors
- Master Budget Management: Maintain and update the annual company-wide budget. Track "Actual vs. Planned" spend across all departments (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and G&A).
- Cash Flow Projections: Monitor the payment status of all customer invoices to provide real-time cash-on-hand projections for leadership.
- Monthly Variance Analysis: Conduct monthly budget reviews with department heads to identify overages and adjust forecasts for the remainder of the year.
- End-to-End Billing: Manage the global invoicing process. Ensure all contract terms (ARR, TCV, Net-terms) are accurately reflected in HubSpot and the accounting system.
- A/R Management: Own the Accounts Receivable process for the entire company. Proactively manage collections to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Audit Trail: Maintain meticulous records of signed contracts and digital signatures for audit readiness and due diligence.
- Incentive Compensation: Calculate and audit monthly/quarterly sales commissions and company-wide performance bonuses.
- Expense Management: Oversee the company-wide expense reimbursement process. Administer corporate card programs (e.g., Ramp/Brex) and enforce the global travel and expense policy.
- Payroll Liaison: Consolidate all financial adjustments (commissions, bonuses, reimbursements) and submit finalized files to the payroll vendor (e.g., Rippling/ADP).
- SaaS Stack Management: Track all company software subscriptions, manage renewals, and identify opportunities for cost consolidation.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 3–5 years in a FinOps, RevOps, or Corporate Finance role (preferably in B2B Software/SaaS).
- CPA background
- Excel/Google Sheets Mastery: Ability to build complex, multi-tab financial models, pivot tables, and advanced lookups (XLOOKUP, nested logic).
- Accounting Software: Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Detail-Oriented: A "zero-error" mentality regarding payroll and commission submissions.
