Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on finished vehicle logistics expenditures (e.g., standard freight, offsite yards, spot buys, fulfillment centers, etc.), identifying trends, variances, and opportunities.
- Lead forecasting processes to anticipate spend in alignment with current macro environment and enterprise priorities.
- Lead budget & LTP development and target-setting for vehicle logistics operations.
- Navigate current US tariff environment and support mitigation strategies.
- Identify and drive cost reduction initiatives through data-driven insights.
- Drive efficiencies through process improvements, standardization and leveraging technology.
- Collaborate on ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic projects and leadership decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate financial policies.
- Lead by example displaying GM behaviors, commitment to personal development and dedication to building a positive Workplace of Choice culture.
Additional Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
- Five (5) years of professional experience in business, finance or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with finance software applications (SAP, Hyperion)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Skilled communicator with the confidence and presence to present ideas to senior leadership
- Ability to operate independently and self-motivated
