Role Summary
Cyderes is seeking a proactive Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role provides a unique opportunity to partner with functional leaders across the organization, influence planning and performance discussions, and deliver clear financial insights that drive business decisions.
You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly and financial clarity is crucial. The successful candidate will be comfortable translating complex financial information into actionable guidance, developing and improving reporting processes, and working collaboratively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Finance Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Partner with leaders across functional areas to support financial planning, performance tracking, and decision-making.
- Translate financial data into clear insights and explain key performance drivers to non-financial stakeholders.
- Prepare and present financial analysis and results to senior leadership.
- Forecasting, Budgeting & Financial Management
- Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles.
- Monitor operating metrics, expense drivers, and revenue performance relative to plan.
- Contribute to headcount and expense modeling as part of long-range planning.
- Reporting & Financial Analysis
- Develop, maintain, and distribute periodic financial reporting packages.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to answer business questions and support operational initiatives.
- Build financial models to support planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Process Improvement & Best Practices
- Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis processes.
- Support automation efforts and adoption of best practices within finance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
- Special Projects
- Participate in finance-led special projects, including system enhancements, reporting transitions, and business process documentation.
- Support business cases and financial impact analysis for strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or related areas.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
- CPA designation (completed or in progress).
- Experience in high-growth, technology, SaaS, or services organizations.
- Exposure to financial process redesign or reporting improvements.
