Leidos is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer with project management experience and PFAS expertise to support environmental investigation, restoration, and compliance services.
Senior Environmental Engineer responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to complex environmental site investigations
Develop technical approaches and Conceptual Site Models (CSMs) focused on PFAS release, fate, and transport
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure project success and regulatory compliance
Support the PFAS Practice Lead in maintaining technical excellence and consistency across projects
Experience managing environmental investigation and remediation projects.
Qualifications:
Requires BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
Proven experience on multiple CERCLA PA/SI, RI/FS projects or RCRA equivalents
Expertise in developing technical approaches for complex environmental investigations
Experience creating Conceptual Site Models related to PFAS.
Strong understanding of environmental consulting within the federal market.
Experience managing environmental investigation and remediation projects.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
This multifaceted role entails providing guidance and technical support across our portfolio of PFAS projects, as well as managing PFAS investigation and remediation projects. You will work with our PFAS Practice Lead to shape and direct our PFAS practice services. You will interact and be supported by our PFAS Advisory Team and PFAS Community of Practice. A key aspect of the role is to help maintain consistency across our portfolio of PFAS work, including factors such as technical excellence, technical approach, data visualization, data-driven conclusions and recommendations. Your efforts will directly impact on our continued ability to meet and exceed client needs by helping to ensure that Leidos remains at the forefront of the industry in terms of technology, chemistry, remediation, regulations, characterization, detection and analysis.

Pay Range:Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
