Responsibilities
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of iOS engineers, including hiring, onboarding, and career development, while fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
Contribute to the codebase and provide technical leadership across architecture, system design, and key engineering decisions.
Partner with product, design, and data to define, scope, and deliver high-impact features, owning execution from concept through launch.
Establish and uphold a high bar for engineering quality, including code standards, testing practices, and long-term maintainability.
- Operate as a player/coach with an expected ~50% hands-on engineering contribution.
Requirements
6+ years of experience managing high-performing, mobile engineering teams.
10+ years of professional iOS development experience, with strong proficiency in Swift and experience across the iOS ecosystem, including Apple Payments.
Experience building and shipping mobile applications to scaled audiences, with strong understanding of architecture, performance optimization, and user experience.
Proven ability to lead projects from concept through launch, balancing speed and quality, and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to deliver business impact.
Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers, with strong communication and leadership skills.
An AI-forward mindset, with curiosity about applying emerging technologies to improve developer and product experiences.
