We're searching for a Senior Engineering Manager to join the Loom Integration Platform team.
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you'll be a technical leader and people manager, responsible for guiding the team in technical decisions for production services, helping prioritize and organize the team's work, and providing career growth and mentorship opportunities to your team.
In this role, you will:
  • Manage a team of engineers, fostering their growth and inspiring innovation and operational excellence
  • Own the delivery of new product and systems initiatives
  • Collaborate in technical & architectural discussions, provide direction, and drive decision-making
  • Build an open, trusting, operationally mature culture that fosters continuous improvement
  • Be the engineering voice in our quarterly planning process, driving the team technical strategy and collaborating on our product strategy
  • Participate in hiring, planning, and budgeting

Your background:
  • 5+ years of experience managing software engineers in backend and/or fullstack teams
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with product managers and designers to create the course of a product
  • Experience working with public-facing high traffic e-commerce websites
  • Experience working with distributed teams
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience).

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $206,100 - $269,075
Zone B: $186,300 - $243,225
Zone C: $171,900 - $224,425
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
