- Working with the engineering management on the delivery of regulatory compliance to the internal team and customers per FCC standards (United States) and CE Marking (European Union), Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC);
- Developing and implementing test strategies for radio devices and radar in compliance with regulatory requirements, identifying appropriate test methods, determining the specific tests that need to be performed, including tests for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), radio frequency (RF) emissions, RF exposure, spurious emissions, and other relevant parameters;
- Conducting testing and evaluations for radio devices and radar, including test planning, execution, and reporting, defining the test objectives, identifying the type of radio devices and radar systems to be tested and the purpose of the evaluation, developing test scenarios, and documenting the step-by-step procedures to be followed during the testing process;
- Interpreting test results and providing recommendations to customers regarding compliance issues, areas for improvement, and best practices;
- Monitoring testing projects for radio devices and radar, including test planning, execution, and reporting to ensure effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuously monitoring and adjusting the testing process based on evolving requirements or challenges and regularly update the test plan and adapt the testing approach as needed to achieve the desired outcomes;
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technologies in radio devices and radar testing and certification to ensure that the testing process is up-to-date and effective;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software engineers, technical managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for radio devices and radar; and
- Ensuring that the testing and certification process for radio devices and radar comply with regulatory requirements, including FCC, CE, and other relevant standards.
