- Design electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security.
- Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
- Develop electrical system design calculations.
- Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT.
- Perform QA/QC design work.
- Lead a project team and manage projects.
- Coordinate with Owners and Architects.
- Coordinate work with other disciplines.
- Complete code compliance research.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers.
- Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations.
- 5-8 years of hands-on design experience as a consulting electrical engineer in building construction.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- You possess a Professional Engineer license, PE or are in the process of obtaining a PE.
- You have experience with complex institutional healthcare, mission critical, and commercial projects.
- You are familiar with codes, standards and design guidelines.
- You have Project Management experience.
- You have leadership experience.
- Excellent work ethic and attitude.
- Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work.
- Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Revit and MS Office.
