  • Develop electrical designs that meet performance, reliability, cost, and constructability goals.
  • Review and manage work completed by external engineering consultants.
  • Create and maintain electrical design standards, specifications, and engineering processes.
  • Evaluate new equipment and technologies for future projects.
  • Support design reviews throughout planning, construction, and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, structural, civil, and construction teams to resolve design issues.
  • Work with utilities, authorities having jurisdiction, vendors, and contractors during project delivery.
  • Identify technical risks and recommend practical solutions.
  • Travel domestically as needed, typically less than 25%.
What We’re Looking For
  • You communicate clearly and share information people need to make decisions.
  • You approach problems with practical solutions and follow through on commitments.
  • You work well across disciplines and build productive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • You stay organized while managing multiple priorities.
  • You focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • You support your teammates and contribute to shared goals.
  • You make decisions with integrity and accountability.
What You’ll Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Approximately 4 to 7 years of experience designing electrical systems for mission-critical facilities, data centers, or similar infrastructure.
  • Experience with medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of generators, UPS systems, grounding, protection, and power distribution equipment.
  • Experience applying NEC, NFPA, UL, ANSI, and other applicable electrical codes and standards.
  • Experience coordinating with engineering consultants and reviewing technical deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically.
  • Ability to complete customer-required background checks and drug screenings when required.

Preferred

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with both greenfield and brownfield data center projects.
