About the Role:
BigPanda is looking for a Senior Director of Web & Digital Marketing to define and own our digital strategy at a pivotal moment for the business. This is a senior leadership role designed for someone who has built and scaled digital marketing functions in B2B SaaS and brings a strong point of view on where digital is headed – particularly as AI reshapes how buyers discover and evaluate solutions.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role. You will lead through a carefully managed ecosystem of agencies and contractors, and operate as the internal authority on all things digital – setting strategy, driving execution, and reporting results directly to senior leadership.
Who You Are:
You are a senior digital marketing leader who has owned this function before – not just contributed to it. You have set strategy, led a website redesign, built paid programs from the ground up, and navigated the shift to AI-driven search with a clear point of view. You have proven UX/UI experience – you know what a great digital experience looks like and you can direct creative and agency partners to get there. You understand that in a lean organization, your leverage comes from your judgment and creativity, the strength of your partnerships, and your ability to influence.
You bring both the strategic altitude to shape direction and the operator's instinct to know when something isn't working and move quickly. You are an exceptional communicator – as comfortable presenting to senior leadership as you are in the weeds of a conversion optimization test. You don't wait for a perfect plan and you don't need a large team to make an impact.
What you will do:
- Digital Strategy & Growth in Visibility: Own BigPanda's position in search – today and into the AI-driven future. This means setting a comprehensive SEO, AEO, and GEO strategy that reflects where buyers are finding answers, not just where they have historically. You will define how we show up across traditional search, AI-generated results, and answer engines — and build the content and technical infrastructure to get us there. Growth in visibility is a strategic priority for this business, and this role owns the outcome.
- Website, Design & Digital Experience: Own the BigPanda website as a business asset – responsible for its performance, its design, its evolution, and ultimately its contribution to pipeline. You bring both a strong eye for design and the technical acumen to back it up – able to direct agency and design partners with a clear point of view on what a world-class B2B digital experience looks and feels like. This includes leading a website redesign, managing the ongoing roadmap, and ensuring the site is continuously optimized for conversion. You set the vision for what the digital experience should be and drive execution at pace.
- Paid Media & Performance Marketing: Set and own our paid media strategy with a performance marketing discipline – clear accountability for pipeline contribution, ROI, and spend efficiency. You know how to build a paid program that scales, and you know when not to scale until the measurement infrastructure supports it.
- Technology, Security & Compliance: Ensure BigPanda's digital infrastructure is secure, compliant, and integrated. You will own our website security posture, consent, and GDPR compliance across all web properties, and the integration of our MarTech stack into a cohesive digital motion.
- Insights & Reporting: Translate digital performance into strategic decisions. You will own web analytics, build the reporting infrastructure that gives leadership real-time visibility into traffic, conversion, and pipeline contribution, and present a clear, confident point of view on what the data means and what we should do about it.
- Agency & Vendor Ecosystem: Build and lead a high-performing external ecosystem – agencies, SEO partners, developers, and translation vendors – as your primary execution model. At this level, your ability to select the right partners, set clear expectations, and drive accountability is as important as your own expertise.
What skills and experience you’ll bring to BigPanda:
- 12+ years in digital marketing with demonstrated, senior ownership of SEO/AEO/GEO, website strategy, paid media, and conversion optimization in B2B SaaS
- Proven experience leading a full website redesign end-to-end – from business case through launch – with a strong eye for design and digital experience
- A genuine, forward-looking point of view on AEO, GEO, and AI-generated search
- A keen eye for design – able to direct agency and creative partners with confidence and a clear aesthetic point of view
- Performance marketing discipline with strong accountability for pipeline contribution and ROI
- Experience owning website security posture and GDPR/consent compliance across multiple regions
- Fluency with modern MarTech ecosystems and AI-assisted web development tools
- A track record of building and managing high-performing agency ecosystems as a primary execution model
- Strong communication skills – able to translate complex digital strategy into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership

Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $151,725 - $210,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
