TITLE: Senior Director, Services Go To Market Lead
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Services Go to Market Lead (Senior Director) is a senior management role responsible for directly leading the sales function to achieve professional services revenue targets as well as defining, governing, and evolving solution architecture practices across Duck Creek Technologies. This role provides hands on leadership in collaboration with Professional Services leadership supporting services sales to enterprise insurance customers. It also provides strategic leadership for solution architecture practice including practices, processes, talent and templates. The Senior Director is accountable for driving professional services sales performance, utilizing proven sales management tooling and methodologies to maximize pipeline conversion, forecast accuracy, and revenue attainment. The position balances technical depth, people leadership, sales enablement, and cross-functional influence to ensure Duck Creek solutions and services are architected, positioned, and delivered consistently, scalable, and in alignment with business strategy, product direction, and partner ecosystems.
- Lead the sales function for professional services, setting clear revenue targets and driving execution to achieve and exceed goals using established sales management tools and processes.
- The role will define our service offerings, manage a team to sell to new and existing customers and leverage market leading tooling and processes to support these efforts.
- Work with Services leadership to articulate high value offerings that will resonate within the P&C market.
- Leverage the defined service offerings as well as other channels including customer facing team to generate and grow a healthy pipeline.
- Collaborate with sales operations to provide effective reporting to ensure a clear line of sight to achievement of services sales targets.
- Provide overall leadership and direction for solution architecture teams, including workforce planning, performance management, coaching, career development, and readiness to support sales and delivery.
- Evolve the solution architecture team to a level of world class performance in the engagement with prospects and customers as well as the delivery of high value solutions.
- Establish and maintain solution architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices aligned with Duck Creek products, cloud platforms, and integration patterns.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, and Alliances to ensure architectural alignment from pre-sales through delivery and lifecycle management, including services positioning and scope definition.
- Collaborate with partner organizations to define joint solution patterns and enable consistent architectural approaches across the ecosystem.
- Support sales and account teams by providing executive-level technical and solution leadership for strategic opportunities, including services-based engagements, when required.
- Represent solution architecture perspectives in internal leadership forums and cross-functional planning activities, including services strategy and go-to-market planning.
- Ensure solution architectures clearly articulate the value, differentiation, and outcomes of Duck Creek professional and partner-delivered services.
- Guide teams in developing repeatable solution and services patterns that support scalable selling and delivery models.
WHAT YOU’VE DONE:
- REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in P&C insurance enterprise services sales and architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles.
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing technical teams. - Demonstrated experience designing and governing large-scale, enterprise, cloud-based software solutions.
- PREFERRED:
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
- Experience within the insurance or financial services software domain.
- Experience working in a global insurance software sales organization.
- Formal architecture or cloud certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors:
- Deep understanding of selling methodologies, tooling and processes.
- Deep expertise in insurance P&C enterprise solution architecture and distributed systems design.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS platforms, and integration technologies.

Actual compensation for this role is determined based on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location, where permitted by law.
For reference, the expected salary range for this position is generally positioned as follows based on candidate location:
- 174,900 – 249,900: Candidates living in the Boston, New York City–Newark, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, Seattle, or Washington, DC metropolitan areas
- 166,700 – 238,100: Candidates living in Chicago, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Minneapolis, or Philadelphia metropolitan areas, or in Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Rhode Island, or Vermont
- 158,400 – 226,300: Candidates living in Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Oregon, or Wisconsin
- 170,300 – 219,300: For all other U.S. locations
This position is also eligible for sales commissions, subject to plan terms and individual eligibility.
Final compensation will be determined based on the factors outlined above and in accordance with applicable law.
