The Role:
The Senior Director of Regional Field Marketing for the Americas (US, Canada, Latin America, and Vertical Industries) will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, campaigns, and programs that drive demand generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in regional field and partner marketing planning and execution, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and cross-functional Marketing teams and senior leadership. The role reports into the VP, Global Demand Generation in the Marketing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional field marketing strategies, campaigns, and programs for the Americas region (US, Canada, Latin America, and Vertical Industries) to support the company's business, sales, and marketing goals and objectives for the region.
- Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals to execute integrated marketing campaigns, programs, events, and initiatives that drive demand and pipeline generation, pipeline acceleration, account-based marketing, and partner engagement efforts.
- Collaborate with sales, product marketing, digital and web, corporate marketing, and other cross-functional go-to-market (GTM) teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional GTM and technology partners to drive joint marketing initiatives and co-marketing programs.
- Be the regional field marketing voice on market trends, insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth, content, and differentiation.
- Manage the field marketing budget for the Americas region, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Track and report on the performance of marketing functions and programs in the Americas region, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and tactics.
- Drive representation of the company at regional industry events, conferences and events, and partner engagements that promote the brand, thought leadership, demand generation, and build relationships with key prospects and customers.
Experience Areas:
- Demand Generation: Develop and execute strategies and plans to create and nurture interest in the company's products or services, building awareness, generating leads and pipeline, and driving revenue growth across new logo and customer accounts.
- Pipeline Generation: Focus on creating a steady flow of qualified leads that can be converted into sales opportunities through targeted marketing campaigns and collaboration with sales and BDR/SDR teams and functions.
- Pipeline Acceleration: Implement personalized marketing campaigns and strategies to speed up the sales process and reduce the time it takes to convert opportunities into customers.
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM and ABX): Develop programs and experiences with tailored content for specific high-value accounts, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and align marketing and sales efforts to drive engagement and revenue growth.
- Tracking Results and Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of the various marketing programs using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and tactics.
- Measurement and KPI Orientation: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, ensuring business objectives are met and maximizing ROI.
- Regional Marketing Programs: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing programs that drive demand generation, partner engagement, and revenue growth.
- Driving Field and Partner Events: Plan and execute regional field and partner events, including conferences, industry events, and webinars to promote and build pipeline for the business.
- Driving Cross-Functional Programs and Projects: Lead and manage cross-functional programs and projects, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment across different teams.
- Collaboration Skills: Demonstrate strong collaboration skills, working effectively with various stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Program and Project Management Skills: Exhibit strong program and project management skills, ensuring successful execution, delivery, and reporting on marketing initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in field and partner marketing, with a focus on the Americas region, having spent time within a dynamic enterprise SaaS organization.
- Proven 6+ years of experience in marketing leadership and managing a direct, full-time team of 5+ people.
- Deep understanding and proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive demand generation and partner engagement.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing marketing team.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity products, SaaS, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with the ability to measure, analyze, and use data insights to drive decision-making and optimize marketing strategies and programs.
- Strategic thinker with effective interpersonal, communication, creativity, and presentation skills coupled with independent thinking and a problem-solving mindset and orientation.
- Experience in managing and tracking marketing budgets and maximizing ROI.
- Experience managing across multiple time zones and geographies.
- Travel: Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Required Skills:
- Experience in the technology, cybersecurity, or software and SaaS industry.
- Knowledge of the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in marketing platforms, CRM, and business systems such as SFDC, Marketo, 6Sense, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Coupa, etc.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):
$161,600 - $230,800 - $300,000Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
