The Role
We're looking for an entrepreneurial Product Operations leader to strengthen and scale the Product Ops function in a high growth environment. This role begins as a hands-on individual contributor and will grow and evolve as the function and the company grows.
Reporting to our Chief Product Officer, you'll be a key member of the Product Leadership team and partner closely across Product, Engineering, Design, and GTM Teams to improve how we decide, execute, and learn-bringing structure where it creates leverage and avoiding process for process's sake. This is a role for someone who enjoys creating clarity in complex environments and knows how to scale discipline without slowing teams down.

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000-$200,000, depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. Enable better product decisions
- Improve roadmap confidence through clearer inputs, tradeoffs, and outcome tracking
- Help teams move from opinion-driven to evidence-informed decisions
- Support long term strategic planning and portfolio decisions.
- Support effective product discovery by enabling consistent learning, experimentation, and insight sharing across teams
Product analytics and insights
- Own the product analytics function, including instrumentation, data quality, and reporting standards
- Define and operationalize product metrics that matter (leading and lagging)
- Translate product, customer, and business data into actionable insights for teams and executives
Improve execution and delivery
- Identify and remove friction across planning, development, and launch workflows
- Improve delivery predictability, release quality, and operational reliability
- Ensure tools are well-integrated, consistently used, and clearly tied to outcomes
Release management and beta programs
- Define and evolve release management processes that support quality and cross-functional readiness
- Partner with Engineering, Product Marketing, and Customer Teams on release planning and execution
- Own beta and early access programs, ensuring program structure and consistency where participation is curated for impact and feedback meaningfully shapes product decisions
Drive cross-functional alignment
- Act as a trusted partner across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Services and Customer Success
- Clarify ownership and decision rights to prevent duplication and slowdowns
- Support consistent, repeatable product launches as the company scales
Build and scale the Product Ops function
- Define the mandate, scope, and operating model for Product Operations
- Establish lightweight, scalable processes that create leverage-not drag
- Hire and lead Product Ops team members as the organization grows
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong product judgment and credibility with senior product and engineering leaders
- Comfort operating across strategy, data, and execution
- Practical experience owning analytics and operational processes
- Clear communicator who can influence without authority
- Strong writing skills, ability to communicate with engineering, PM and an Executive audience
- Passionate about working in a small team and fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
Qualifications (Education and Certifications)
- 8+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Product Analytics, or related roles
- Understanding of contemporary software delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Kanban, etc.)
- Experience building or significantly shaping a Product Ops function
Milestones for the First Six Months
In one month, you will:
- Establish strong working relationships across Product, Engineering, Design, GTM, and Customer teams
- Gain deep understanding of product strategy, roadmap, delivery, release, and analytics practices
- Identify key friction points in decision-making, execution, and cross-functional alignment
- Deliver a concise Product Ops charter outlining mandate, priorities, and where structure will add leverage
In three months, you will:
- Define and operationalize core product metrics; improve data quality and reporting
- Introduce clearer roadmap inputs, tradeoffs, and planning discipline
- Implement consistent release management and beta / early access processes
- Reduce friction in at least one critical planning, delivery, or launch workflow
In six months, you will:
- Embed evidence-informed decision-making and consistent discovery practices
- Improve delivery predictability and release quality across product teams
- Enable repeatable, cross-functional product launches
- Formalize the Product Ops operating model and begin scaling the function (hiring plan or team build-out as needed)
