WHO YOU ARE:
You’re a strategic, hands-on Human Resources operations leader who can see the big picture and roll up your sleeves to make it happen. You excel at building people strategies that drive business results, strengthen culture, and energize teams. You have deep experience leading complex HR operations across multiple jurisdictions, including Canada, and understand the nuances of serving a diverse workforce from minors to seasoned professionals. You lead with integrity, inspire trust, and create an environment where people thrive.

- Leading and mentoring a high-performing HR Operations team that models our values in every interaction.
- Fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous learning within HR.
- Designing and executing HR operational strategies that align with business goals and elevate team member experience.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements – including those specific to minors – while maintaining HR policies and procedures that support a positive work environment.
- Streamlining payroll, benefits, and HRIS processes to deliver seamless, efficient service to every team member.
- Establishing and maintaining HR metrics and analytics that drive data-informed decisions, improve workforce planning, and boost operational efficiency.
- Ensuring the smooth execution of onboarding, training, and employee experience programs that enhance retention and workforce satisfaction – including managing the eNPS program and building a future rewards and recognition program.
- Staying ahead of HR technology trends and implementing solutions that enhance operations and the team member experience.
- Designing and executing a total rewards strategy that supports business goals, inspires performance, and reflects our commitment to serve big and give bigger.
- Partnering on the design of compensation programs including base pay, variable pay, equity, and incentives, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
- Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for LOA, Workers Comp, ADA, 401K, and Unemployment programs.
- Stepping in when needed to resolve employee relations matters, coach leaders, and support performance management – always protecting culture and trust.
WHAT YOU BRING OUR TEAM:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred). Equivalent professional experience considered, with HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) highly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in progressive HR roles, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position overseeing HR Operations strategically.
- Proven success leading HR functions across multi-unit or large-scale organizations, ideally in entertainment, retail, restaurants, or hospitality.
- Expertise in HR operations including compliance, talent management, compensation, payroll, and organizational development.
- Deep knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and HR technology systems (HRIS) Workday experience preferred.
- Track record of building strategies that improve engagement and deliver business results.
- A high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide teams, build trust, and foster collaboration.
- Clear and compelling communicator who adapts messages to diverse audiences.
- Analytical thinker that uses data to optimize HR processes and meet KPIs.
- Skilled problem-solver able to address complex operational and compliance challenges.
- Organized and adaptable leader able to thrive in fast-paced, growing environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step.

Compensation range is $150,000-170,000 annually + bonus opportunity, based on qualifications, experience, and performance. Full-time employees at CircusTrix enjoy a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401k plan with company matching. Eligibility for 401k is based on age and tenure requirements.
