  • Assess and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities that could accelerate Medison’s growth, enhance capabilities, or expand access to innovation.
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Finance, Commercial, Medical, and other functions to ensure strategy is informed by robust cross-functional insights and grounded in execution realities.
  • Shape Board of Directors and Executive team discussions, develop high quality decision support materials, strategic reviews, with clear, data-driven recommendations.
  • Identify key strategic risks and opportunities and proactively develop scenario plans and mitigation strategies to support enterprise resilience and agility.
  • Drive strategic special projects and enterprise-level analyses as requested by the CBO and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders across the organization, helping translate strategic priorities into clear choices, measurable initiatives, and aligned action plans.
  • Help establish and institutionalize a strategy management cadence, including KPI tracking, strategic initiative monitoring, and periodic reassessment of assumptions and priorities.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience in corporate strategy, in-house consulting, management consulting, business planning, corporate development, or related strategic roles within biotech, pharma, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Significant experience developing and leading annual strategic plans, enterprise strategy, growth strategy, or strategic planning efforts in complex and fast-paced organizations.
  • Excellent financial and strategic acumen, with the ability to evaluate growth opportunities through both qualitative and quantitative lenses.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop analytical frameworks, and translate insights into practical strategic recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of the biopharma industry, including market dynamics, commercialization models, partnerships, competitive intelligence, and long-term value drivers.
  • Experience in competitive intelligence, market analysis, benchmarking, and strategic business case development.
  • Strong experience working closely with senior executives and preparing materials for Executive Team and Board-level discussions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence across functions and levels of seniority.
  • Strong leadership presence, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders in a highly collaborative manner.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred; additional scientific or healthcare-related training is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high ownership, and comfort operating in a hyper-growth, fast-evolving environment.
