We are seeking an exceptionally strategic and Sales-facing Sr. Director, GTM Finance to be the primary finance partner to our global Go-to-Market leadership. This critical role will directly influence our hyper-growth trajectory by owning the financial architecture around our global sales organization, including revenue forecasting and resource allocation. You'll drive operational excellence and fiscal discipline across our largest investment areas, translating operational strategy into concrete financial outcomes. What Will You Do?Strategic Planning & Forecasting- Lead the global quarterly and annual revenue planning process, establishing credible, data-driven targets, and integrating them into the company's financial model for executive and board review.
- Direct the GTM headcount and resource allocation strategy, ensuring optimal deployment of sales, marketing, and channel investments to maximize ROI and achieve long-range financial goals.
- Partner closely with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and executive sales leadership, acting as a trusted advisor to evaluate strategic initiatives, compensation structures, and global expansion efforts.
- Develop and present comprehensive financial reviews, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities in sales performance metrics (e.g., pipeline health, rep productivity, CAC).
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methodologies and planning cycles, leveraging advanced analytical techniques and financial systems.
- Own the operating expense budget for all GTM functions, providing timely and accurate variance analysis and holding business partners accountable for spending efficiency and discipline.
- Structure and maintain the GTM reporting package, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that provide transparency into the operational and financial health of the sales organization.
- Manage the Commissions Finance function, ensuring timely and accurate payout forecasting, quota attainment tracking, and compensation plan effectiveness analysis.
- Partner with Sales Operations to implement and manage systems that support robust sales capacity planning, territory design, and financial modeling.
- Identify, quantify, and model the financial impact of new business models, pricing strategies, and strategic partnerships, providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Finance, with a minimum of 5 years in an FP&A leadership role supporting a high-growth, Sales/GTM organization at a public B2B SaaS company.
- Proven track record of leading revenue and sales capacity/headcount planning in a global environment.
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, unit economics (LTV/CAC), and advanced FP&A concepts tailored for a recurring revenue business model.
- Prior experience successfully partnering with and presenting to C-level GTM executives (CRO, CMO, etc.) and executive leadership.
- Experience leading and mentoring a high-performing finance team, managing processes across multiple geographies.
- Expert-level proficiency in financial planning systems (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Anaplan) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
