The Job:  

The Senior Director, Global Creative and Strategy, is a visionary leader responsible for driving the creative strategy, output, and culture of our internal agency. The role oversees all creative teams and projects, ensuring exceptional quality, innovation, and alignment with brand objectives. This role requires deep experience in a creative agency environment, preferably with some in-house experience, managing multidisciplinary teams and high-profile campaigns for diverse brands. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sr Director, Studio to drive the strategic growth of the in-house agency by expanding service capabilities, fostering innovation, and implementing new ways of working to enhance overall team performance and deliver greater value to clients. 
  • Lead and inspire the global creative department, setting the vision and standards for all creative output. 
  • Oversee concept development, creative execution, and delivery across all channels (digital, print, broadcast, experiential, packaging, in-store, etc.). 
  • Cultivate a strong understanding of the brands, specifically their business objectives, and translate them into compelling creative solutions. 
  • Collaborate with account, strategy, and production teams to ensure integrated, effective campaigns. 
  • Mentor and develop creative talent, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and excellence. 
  • Present creative work, articulating rationale and strategic thinking. 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure agency competitiveness. 
  • Partner with the Director, Project Management and Creative Resourcing to ensure creative teams are optimized and driving strong creative performance.  

The Person:

  • 10+ years’ experience in creative roles within a creative agency, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions. In-house agency experience is preferred, not required 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or related field. 
  • Proven track record of delivering award-winning, multi-channel campaigns for major brands. 
  • Deep expertise in branding, advertising, digital marketing, and emerging media. 
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual and executional excellence. 
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to balance creative vision with business objectives and client needs. 
  • Experience managing large teams and complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
