The Senior Director FP&A will lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and strategic analysis while enhancing operational efficiency within the Finance team.

The Senior Director FP&A reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will lead our long-range plan and annual budgeting processes, operational reporting consolidation, investor relations, and strategic analysis on company wide capital allocation. You will partner closely with the CFO and CEO to plan and prioritize the company’s operational initiatives, making a direct impression on the future of digital identity management.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Finance Leadership Team and will be an expert leader with a proven track record of building teams and upgrading processes in a high growth startup environment. They will have experience working in a dynamic environment that requires the ability to move the function forward while also delivering its day-to-day commitments.

What you'll do as our Senior Director, FP&A:
- Support our strategic and financial planning processes, the annual plan, and quarterly financial forecasts as well as the underlying financial planning models, systems and tools
- Prepare management reporting for Executives and Board - analyze results, distill/synthesize business performance, assess business risk and operating performance, and communicate risks and opportunities in a timely and actionable manner
- Continuously improve reporting accuracy and develop data controls to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting
- Assist in ad-hoc analysis and presentation of strategic materials for management (investor, M&A, etc)
- Develop and evolve policies and procedures to improve the overall operation and efficiency of the Finance organization
- Develop and monitor KPIs, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
- Work with team members to enhance global financial and operational performance trends (historical and forecasted) using appropriate metrics
- Collaborate across all functional departments and internally across the entire Finance department
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 10 years demonstrated FP&A experience in tech, preferably in SaaS; banking, VC, or strategy consulting experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting; MBA a plus
- Experience building and leading a world-class Finance team and infrastructure in a dynamic environment
- Ability to construct well-targeted management reports within the context of business/industry operations/practices
- Strong financial acumen across the organization (e.g., understanding financials, accounting, business intelligence)
- Experienced in complex modeling (e.g., Cash Flow, Headcount, return on investment assessment, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience working within a SaaS business, with a strong understanding of recurring revenue models and associated metrics (e.g., NRR, churn, LTV, COA)
- Superior forecasting methods and techniques. Advanced analytical and quantitative abilities
- Skilled at analyzing information, situations and problems to formulate logical and objective conclusions from fact, situations, data and observations and in translating and driving those conclusions into KPI driven operational programs
- Demonstrated understanding of GAAP accounting and key non-GAAP metrics
- Outstanding software and system skills (NetSuite, Microsoft Excel) a must
- NetSuite, Rippling, Salesforce experience a plus
- Excellent communicator and educator, able to translate technical rules and concepts into clear actionable information. Strong presentation skills, including experience working with leadership teams and Boards of Directors
