We believe that hoteliers deserve better. The global hotel sector is a booming $500B+ industry, yet hotels are facing many complex challenges, including increased pressure from online travel agencies and intense competition from ever-growing room inventory and the shared economy. That coupled with aging, cumbersome technology is making the job of the hotelier more difficult than ever. At Revinate, we use cutting edge technology to build powerful software for hotels to take back control and drive direct revenue. The simplicity and beautiful UX of our solutions are a breath of fresh air in an industry of old technology.

Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be a self-motivated financial leader who can take responsibility for the company’s financial planning and analysis functions and support the company’s growth. This person must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, must be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of handling month-end financials and long-range business plans. This people-leader position is responsible for leading the financial reporting activities and will maintain and enhance the procedures, processes and systems to enable us to meet operational and reporting requirements as we scale.

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial reporting and support leadership with thoughtful analyses and advice. • Lead Financial Planning & Analysis Operations: Oversee and lead the Company’s budgeting and forecasting functions, participate in strategic planning, prepare monthly reporting packages, prepare monthly SaaS metrics reporting, prepare variance analyses, prepare business cases, conduct ad hoc financial analyses and special projects, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Drive Strategic FP&A: Build and manage the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning process. Partner with department leaders to align financial goals with business objectives.  Build a process that scales with Company growth.
  • Performance Leadership: Inspire, develop, and lead a high-performing FP&A team to meet strategic, financial, and operational KPIs.
  • Ensure Timeliness & Accuracy: Deliver timely and accurate financial reports in accordance with Company deadlines.

What You Bring

  • Experienced Leader: 5+ years of progressive finance and/or accounting leadership, including previous experience as a leader of FP&A or equivalent.
  • SaaS-Savvy: Deep understanding of SaaS business models, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and subscription metrics (MRR/ARR/CARR, revenue retention, backlog, CAC, LTV, etc.).
  • Strong Accounting Knowledge:  Must be experienced and well-versed in US GAAP.
  • Technically Skilled: Proficient in Salesforce (required); experience with Zuora is strongly preferred.  Strong experience with Budgeting/Forecasting software tools (e.g. Drivetrain).  Proficient with NetSuite general ledger software.  Advanced Excel user (pivot tables, modeling).  Experience with multi-national business required.
  • Detail-Oriented: Extremely organized with high attention to detail and a bias for action.
  • Deadline-Driven:  Must meet tight deadlines for monthly close, budget, forecast, Board meetings, etc.
  • Hands-On: Willing and able to roll up your sleeves and operate in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Communicative: Clear and concise communicator, able to present financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Experienced Manager: Lead FP&A team relative to day-to-day and strategic initiatives.  Current staff of one.
