The Senior Director of Business Development will be a key executive in driving the growth and expansion of the organization. This role is responsible for leading the business development team, formulating strategies, and establishing relationships to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in business development roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven success in developing and executing business development strategies.
- Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets.
- In-depth understanding of market research methodologies and business acumen.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Leadership: Lead and inspire the business development team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets.
- Relationship Building: Establish and foster relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to drive business growth.
- Market Research: Oversee market research initiatives to identify potential business opportunities and industry trends.
- Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals, presentations, and supporting documents for potential partnerships or collaborations.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through the identification and evaluation of potential business opportunities.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyze market data and competitor insights to identify areas for growth and development.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
