What will you be doing?

As a Senior Director, Brand & Activation Marketing, you will lead how Circana’s Media business narrative comes to life in market through integrated marketing campaigns, product launch activation, and demand generation programs. Reporting to the VP of Brand & Activation Marketing, you will translate strategic direction into marketing execution that strengthens brand equity and drives measurable commercial impact.

You will lead key elements of the Media business’ go‑to‑market marketing strategy, ensuring consistency from in‑market narrative to campaign execution to conversion. This role partners closely with Commercial, Product, and other Marketing teams to scale content, optimize performance, and connect brand storytelling to pipeline outcomes. From nurture flows to industry events, you will ensure every marketing touchpoint reinforces the Media business’s position as a leader in the market while driving engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead go-to-market marketing activation for priority solutions, translating narratives into integrated campaigns and launch plans.
  • Own end-to-end development and execution of full-funnel marketing journeys to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Build and scale evergreen marketing campaigns that establish an always-on market presence.
  • Lead strategy for industry events and key market moments, ensuring they operate as conversion drivers within the activation funnel.
  • Adapt and scale marketing content across regions, industries, and audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Partner with Commercial teams to align marketing activation strategy with pipeline goals.
  • Partner with Marketing Ops and Digital teams to define, track, and optimize campaign performance metrics.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams.
  • Leverage AI to enhance content creation, campaign execution, and personalization at scale.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in digital marketing.
  • Experience with CPG, General Merchandise, or Retail preferred. Brand management experience is a plus. 
  • BA or BS degree required; Masters preferred.
  • Proven content writing skills and strong mastery of AI tools for marketing and content development.
  • Strong project coordination, communication, design, creative, analytical, and process skills.
  • Experience building and optimizing campaigns, nurture flows, and demand generation programs.
  • Ability to connect marketing activity to pipeline performance and business outcomes.
  • Self-starter with the ability to achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Strong, goal-oriented team player, capable of managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, then execute with precision.
  • Collaborative, curious, and proactive with a focus on continuous improvement.

Location: This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote, USA.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 USD.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
