Role Overview

The Senior Director is a senior, client-facing leadership role responsible for scaling Advisory as a primary growth engine for phData’s Intelligence Platform.

This role sits at the intersection of executive advisory, solution shaping, and go-to-market enablement, partnering closely with Sales, Account Leaders, and technical capability leaders to convert early executive conversations into durable, platform-led engagements.

The role is sales-adjacent but not quota-carrying, with primary accountability for pull-through revenue into Intelligence Platform bookings. It is designed for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, brings executive credibility, and wants to help define—not inherit—how phData scales.

What You’ll Do

Solution Sales Support & Enablement

• Partner with Sales and Account Leads to identify, shape, and advance solution opportunities within new and existing clients.
• Lead early-stage executive conversations to frame business problems, align stakeholders, and define value-led solution approaches.
• Translate executive ambition into clear, compelling outcome-focused narratives.
• Own the creation of proposals for:
  
• Strategy engagements
• Advisory and pre-implementation discovery
• Executive workshops and cross-capability solutions
  
• Collaborate with technical capability leaders and SMEs to ensure solutions are strategically aligned, technically sound, and commercially viable.
• Act as a strategic accelerator in pursuits—helping move opportunities from interest to commitment.

Offerings & Framework Development

• Design, evolve, and maintain repeatable offerings and frameworks across areas such as:
  
• Data strategy and operating models
  
• Data governance and data quality AI governance, risk, and adoption
  
• Balance thought leadership with practical application—creating methodologies that are credible at the executive level and actionable in delivery.
• Monitor market, technology, and industry trends to ensure advisory offerings remain relevant and differentiated.
• Codify successful approaches into scalable accelerators that improve win rates, delivery quality, and speed to value.

Delivery Oversight & Executive Advisory

• Provide senior oversight for strategy and advisory engagements to drive consistency, quality, and value realization.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and senior client stakeholders throughout engagements.
• Personally lead or co-lead executive workshops and high-stakes advisory sessions when appropriate.
• Act as an escalation point for strategic challenges and ensure cross-capability alignment across teams.

Who You Are

• 10–15+ years of experience in data, analytics, AI, or digital transformation roles.
• A background in tier-1 consulting or equivalent executive advisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to engage credibly with C-suite and senior business leaders, not just technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success shaping ambiguous problems into compelling, value-oriented solutions.
• Comfortable operating in a sales-adjacent role, influencing outcomes without carrying a quota.
• Experience designing or applying frameworks across strategy, governance, and operating models.
• Strong executive presence, structured thinker, and clear communicator.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in a role that is still being defined.
