Job Description Summary: The Senior Digital Strategist leads consulting engagements from initial visioning through to implementation, working hands-on with clients to design and operationalize new ways of working. This role requires deep expertise in operating model and org design, including the ability to translate strategy into actionable structures, processes, and plans that drive adoption and value realization of Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership: Facilitate envisioning workshops and stakeholder interviews to define the future state vision for organizational design and operating model work, including key Adobe specific strategies for organizational development and effectiveness. Engage and inspire senior executives through strategic dialogues on key challenges, options, and outcomes.
Operating Model & Org Design: Develop and validate target operating models and organizational structures tailored to client needs, translating strategy and gap analysis findings into actionable recommendations, updated processes, and clear role definitions.
Stakeholder Alignment & Change Management: Lead validation sessions to confirm alignment on operating model, org structure, and new ways of working. Develop and socialize team charters, role profiles, RACI matrices, and KPIs to ensure shared understanding and buy-in across all levels.
Implementation & Adoption: Design and execute transition strategies and implementation plans, including 30/60/90-day milestones. Enable impacted organizations (e.g., HR, Marketing, and IT) with updated job descriptions and performance metrics, driving adoption and continuous improvement.
Client Engagement & Value Delivery: Track progress against key milestones and client-defined success metrics, identify and address risks or blockers, and ensure new operating models and org structures are embedded and delivering measurable value.
Teamwork: Drive consensus to work in complex cross-functional teams towards efficient and accountable decision-making. Have a growth mindset and eager to be coached by team members on digital performance strategy, emphasizing organizational development and effectiveness capabilities.
Requirements:
Proven Experience: 10+ years in organizational design, operating model transformation, or related consulting roles, with a track record of leading end-to-end delivery (from discovery through implementation and scaling); demonstrated ability to independently deliver all aspects of operating model/org design work, including for Adobe Experience Cloud or similar enterprise digital transformation programs. Experience working with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
Adobe Expertise: Deep understanding of Adobe’s digital experience tech stack and its integration within complex organizational environments. Ability to collaborate across multiple functional domains fluently. Ideally, AEP, AJO, RTCDP, AEM, Workfront, Target, Commerce to name a few.
Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong capability in conducting research and analysis on customer operating models, identifying barriers to change, and defining critical KPIs.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with exceptional executive presence, capable of engaging and inspiring senior executives and stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree or Adobe-specific certifications highly regarded.
Travel: Willingness to travel based on client needs.
