About this Opportunity:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will help to ensure the health, efficacy, and performance of our applications within our platforms and the management of our release processes. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will focus on understanding application needs, creating quality release strategies and guidance, mentoring project teammates on appropriate AWS cloud solutions for business problems, and mentoring fellow DevOps engineers. Additionally, this role helps establish patterns and guidance for architecting applications to be cloud native and releasing work product that enables the organization to deliver at the speed of business.
This role will be keenly aware of cloud computing industry and release automation trends to solve technical challenges, and strive to create reliable, secure, performant and cost-effective solutions. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.
For External Candidates:
Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE or Lehi, UT.

In this role, you'll get to:
Utilize industry best practices to release cloud solutions with architectures that are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, and auditable
Provide systems support as needed
Identify and remedy single points of failure and security risks
Mentor new team members
Create organizational patterns and practices for secure, automated, repeatable, and resilient releases
Work side by side with architects, application development, SRE, security, and platform teammates to ensure solutions are released in a sound and responsible way
Create and automate builds/releases for applications
Create and manage branching and strategies
Write infrastructure as code
Automate monitoring, alerting, and observability of applications and release health
We're looking for talent who:
Is an AWS Cloud subject matter expert
Has deep knowledge of git source control and branching strategies
Has deep knowledge of release and pipeline strategies, with an emphasis on Azure DevOps Pipelines
Possess ability to deliver cloud-based infrastructure utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools such as Pulumi and Python
Has experience with modern development and testing techniques such as CI/CD
Has experience in agile software development methodology
Has minimum of a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent and prefer a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
Has minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud computing technologies, software development, or DevOps
Preferably has experience with programming languages, such as Node.js, Java, and .NET core
Preferably has experience with Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems with an emphasis on automation
Preferably has experience with Azure
Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:
$94,869.00 - $146,945.00The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
