Job DescriptionCD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer that will develop and adapt our internal tools and systems limited to supporting Cyberpunk 2, a follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077. You will cover day to day tools development, supporting code compilation and integration, improving builds performance, and developing new features.
Daily responsibilities
- Maintenance and improvement of the build system (in-house technology).
- Developing and managing CI/CD systems.
- Code compilation and integration.
- Optimizing pipelines & processes.
- Improving builds performance.
- Working closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes.
- Establishing and maintaining various automation processes.
- Maintaining source control branches and performing integrations with merge conflicts.
- Providing Perforce support for the team.
- Creating and maintaining documentation of the build/release process.
- 3+ years experience in game development or simulation required.
- Proficient in C# backend development (ASP.NET Core, .NET 6+, primarily .NET 8).
- Experience working in depth with one of the following systems: Unreal Engine, Unity, or proprietary engine.
- Deep proficiency with continuous integration technologies.
- Proficient in Python programming.
- Experience with containerization.
- Experience using source control software (git, perforce).
- Knowledge of RDBMS (Postgres or other).
- Experience in Entity Framework, LINQ.
- Demonstrated commitment to taking ownership, setting goals, and driving initiatives independently.
- Proven track record of effective collaboration, supporting colleagues, and achieving shared goals.
- Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, handle ambiguity, and excel under pressure.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine.
- Experience in Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, security concepts, authentication.
This job can be hybrid/in-office from Boston or fully remote from anywhere in USA or Canada.
