Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support and enhance our release processes and ensure compliance with enterprise security and deployment standards on AWS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Deployment: Design, implement, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
- Enterprise Security Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures, including integrations with customer IAM solutions.
- Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain cloud-managed monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
- Disaster Recovery and Backups: Develop and manage backup strategies with automated daily snapshots, multi-region replication, and adherence to data retention policies.
- Network Configuration: Configure and manage VPCs with public and private subnets, enforce firewall rules and establish secure connections using AWS PrivateLink and Direct Connect.
- CI/CD Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and maintain our CI/CD infrastructure; use CDK to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure alignment with customer’s deployment and security requirements.
- Identity and Access Management: Implement and maintain enterprise-grade authentication solutions, including SSO integrations, Auth0, and SAML/OIDC protocols for secure user access and identity management.
- Single-Tenant Deployment: Design and implement dedicated infrastructure for enterprise customers requiring isolated environments, ensuring complete data separation and customized security controls.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in DevOps roles, with a focus on AWS environments and enterprise security.
- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or equivalent is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AWS services and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, CDK).
- Understanding of network configurations, including VPCs, subnets, and VPNs.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
