What you’ll do…

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will help deliver reliable pipelines and platforms.  You are a member of a lean remote team of experienced polyglots adept at GitHub Flow and virtual office communication. You will write and review a lot of quality IaC (Terraform, AWS, Helm, Docker, CI), and your immediate Kubernetes experience will complement our own.  You will have your individual spikes to research.  You will feel ownership in the solution, learn a lot from your peers, and propel your professional development.

About you…
  • 5+ years in DevOps related role

  • 2+ years supporting moderate-to-large Kubernetes environments (Helm charts, probes, controllers, security, tenant isolation, Dockerfile, etc.)

  • 2+ years cloud management (IAM, VPC, Databases, multi-region, etc.)

  • 2+ years working with Terraform (conventions, control logic, patterns and composition, etc.)

  • 2+ years GitOps automation (GitHub, GitLab)

  • Demonstratable networking knowledge (TCP stack, CIDRs, DNS, troubleshooting, etc.)

  • Demonstratable security knowledge (PKI, restricted data, etc.)

  • Demonstratable Linux and shell skills

  • Demonstratable SCM skills

  • Comfortability with Bash and Python

  • Some experience working in a regulated business environment (ex: Healthcare) is a plus

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $155,000 - $170,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
