The Position:
We're looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to help take our cloud infrastructure to the next level. You will help define the patterns and practices for the next evolution of our cloud infrastructure and containerized deployments, the services we use in the cloud, and the standards we follow to build a stable, secure, and scalable platform for our engineering group. You will have responsibilities regarding the high-level design and architecture of Cloud and DevOps practices, combined with hands-on implementation and coding of cloud components, automation, and application updates. This is a remote position which will report to our Cloud Infrastructure Team and collaborate with engineers across the Platform, Security, Data, and Software teams.
What You'll Do:Ensure the reliability, scalability, and high availability of our cloud infrastructure and services.
Develop Terraform modules and internal tooling to empower teams to self-serve infrastructure in a secure, standardized way.
Build self-service tools that empower teams to manage deployments, scale services, and operate databases independently.
Collaborate with product engineers to write and uplift application code that integrates with our infrastructure and observability stack.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and implement durable, long-term solutions.
Partner with engineering teams to align infrastructure with product goals and lead DevOps best practices across the organization.
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience to have developed software engineering fundamentals.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role or a similar position.
Knowledge of Datadog or Prometheus services, patterns and best practices for resiliency, scalability, and security.
Experience developing IaC and software. Our team works with Terraform, TypeScript, Python, and a variety of scripting and programming languages and contributes to our application code.
Experience working within DevOps, CI/CD, GitOps, and Agile methodologies. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Github Actions, Gitlab CI and Jenkins.

The target salary range for this position is between $160k and $200k. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.
