Senior Database Administrator - LATAM

As a DBA at Parser, you will lead our database management efforts and ensure optimal performance of our data system. A strong background in SQL Server enviroment and experience with MongoDB on Azure are essential.
The impact you'll make:
- Lead the monitoring, optimization, and maintenance of on-premise SQL Server environments.
- Manage core DBA tasks including: Backup verification, job failure checks, performance tuning, disk management, deadlock resolution, error logging.
- Troubleshoot and debug SSIS packages and PowerShell scripts used in our ETL processes.
- Oversee BI deployments and ensure data integrity across reporting layers.
- Support and maintain MongoDB deployments on Azure, working alongside infrastructure teams.
- Implement standards and automation for database retention, job scheduling, and alerting.
- Document database architecture, processes, and controls in line with HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support data governance initiatives.
- Serve as subject matter expert on data protection, disaster recovery, and audit-readiness.

What You'll Bring To Us:
- Strong experience with SQL configuration, performance monitoring and optimizations.
- 7+ years of experience in DBA or similar roles.
- Experience on database partitioning, clustering, backups.
- Familiarity with SSIS packages and Power Shell scripting.
- Experience with MongoDb on Azure
- Excellent English communication skills are a must.
