We're looking for someone who can help lead Data Science and Machine Learning at Global Partners! As a Data Scientist at Global Partners, you will play a crucial role in owning development of Data Science and Machine Learning models from our vast data sources and contributing to data-driven decision making.

Own development of data science and machine learning models from the company’s vast data sources and contribute to data-driven decision making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, build predictive models, and develop actionable recommendations. Mentor data scientists and analysts, develop dynamic pricing models, and deploy systems in a cloud environment. Ensure that findings are understandable to stakeholders and guide the creation of sophisticated algorithms and complex analytical tools that forecast market trends, optimize operational processes, and drive strategic decision-making. Employ machine learning, statistical, and causal modeling techniques to address diverse business challenges, including customer segmentation, lifetime value, dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, and program creation. Remain current on the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and causal inference, and explore their applicability to current and future Global GP business scenarios. Lead a team in executing advanced analytics projects. Apply data science techniques to derive insights about product features, user behavior, and business performance and organize findings into clear narratives that inform product strategy and direction. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business leaders to align on priorities and influence data-driven decisions, and work in tandem with the data engineering team to enhance foundational data models, ensuring accurate metrics structures. Design, develop, and deploy large-scale systems using modern cloud-based technology stacks such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS. Drive innovation and product creation using Generative AI and LLMs (such as GPT-4, LLAMA, and BERT), optimizing integration into business solutions. Adopt novel architecture and tools such as LangChain and RAG Frameworks. Work with programming languages for data analysis, including Python and R, and apply knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) fundamentals. Work with data technologies for large-scale storage and analysis, including Spark, Presto, Hive, and Hadoop to build advanced data pipelines for Global GP.

QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field and four years of experience in data science/machine learning analytics. Experience must include four years each of the following: using data-driven insights to drive business decisions and releases; Python for data analysis and object-oriented programming (OOP); designing experiments to guide business decisions; application of statistical and machine learning methods to build models; data technologies AWS, Mode Analytics, MySQL, PostgreSQL for large-scale storage and analysis; analytics, experimentation, and metrics research; and building advanced data pipelines using data modeling and table infrastructure. Experience may be gained concurrently.
