About the Role
Dandy is seeking a Senior Data Scientist I to focus on the Go-To-Market (GTM) side of our business. In this role, you will be the analytical engine behind our top-of-funnel strategy, partnering closely with Marketing and Sales Development to optimize how we attract, engage, and convert new customers. You will own the data science initiatives that drive marketing efficiency, improve lead quality, and deepen our understanding of the ideal customer. This role is the strategic counterpart to our revenue-focused data scientist, ensuring we are building a healthy and efficient sales pipeline from the very beginning.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain our lead scoring models to help prioritize sales efforts and surface the highest-intent prospects.
Analyze marketing campaign performance and develop models to optimize spend and improve efficiency across all channels.
Conduct deep-dive analysis of our marketing and sales funnel to identify conversion bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
Partner with Rev Ops to enhance data infrastructure and build a robust measurement framework for all GTM activities.
Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to marketing and sales leadership to inform strategy and tactics.
Who You Are
Experience (4+ years) in a data science or analytics role with a focus on marketing, sales, or GTM analytics.
A strong understanding of the B2B marketing and sales funnel.
Excellent SQL & Python skills
Strong senses of autonomy and ownership
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and statistical skills
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver value is cross-functional setting
Bonus Points If...
Experience working with a B2B sales pipeline and revenue data at a company like Shopify, Amazon, Uber, Lyft, Instacart, or the like.
Strong customer empathy, particularly for dentists
Have experience turning vague business problems into statistical rigorous analyses & solutions (e.g. causal inference, predictive modeling)
Interest in working and learning in an earlier stage company where we’re still working out some of the basics
Experience in Looker, Hex, and dbt
You have demonstrated success in building models for lead scoring, sales funnel optimization, marketing mix modeling, or attribution.
