RequirementsSummary:
The Senior Data Migration Specialist plays a pivotal role in optimizing our client’s utilization of the AgencyBloc product by ensuring the smooth migration of their data from their prior CRM into AgencyBloc. Working closely with an Implementation Manager, the Senior Data Migration Specialist will identify data needs, restore databases from CRM backups, map client data using SQL, and import that data using proprietary import utilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirements gathering with our clients to identify what data needs to be imported into AgencyBloc, including file attachments.
- In collaboration with the Implementation Manager, establish project timelines and tasks.
- Perform source system data analysis in order to develop source to AgencyBloc data mapping.
- Perform data cleaning, validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct data migration and testing to ensure all client data is correctly mapped to their AgencyBloc account.
- In collaboration with the Implementation Manager, respond to client feedback, making any updates to the data mapping necessary.
- Develop and maintain process and source system documentation. Mentor and train team members, contractors, and clients as necessary.
- Direct and support data migration contractors as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Database Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or closely related field desired and three to five years relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and loading.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working with technology and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced entrepreneurial team environment.
