Responsibilities:- Working on a global team which is shaping the digitalization of our worldwide plants
- Responsible for defining best practices regarding machine connectivity
- The single point of contact between the IT department and production plants, maintaining close collaboration with the plant managers
- Ensuring robust, cost-efficient, and secure machine connectivity solutions for the plants.
- Managing machine and (connectivity) hardware suppliers
- Providing input on IT architecture and strategy
- Degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field with practical experience
- Initial experience in Industry IoT
- Strong experience in machine connectivity (OPC-UA, Modbus, ...) and experience in communicating with machine suppliers
- Basic knowledge of PLC control and experience in supplier management
- Understanding of cloud concepts IT architectures, infrastructure, and networks
- Project management experience
- Proficiency in English
