The Senior Data Cloud Consultant will lead Salesforce Health Cloud projects, mentor teams, define project scopes, and ensure compliance in healthcare solutions.

What you will do
- Serve as the technical expert on all aspects of the Salesforce Health Cloud and Data Cloud platforms, providing mentorship and guidance to peers and junior consultants.
- Collaborate on development projects across the Salesforce ecosystem, including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other related platforms, to deliver comprehensive healthcare solutions.
- Lead and mentor onshore and offshore development teams, providing guidance on best practices, delegating tasks effectively, and fostering a collaborative environment to ensure project success.
- Work with a wide range of Salesforce products, including Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, AgentForce, Home Health (FSL), and various healthcare-specific integrations.
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions for large healthcare client engagements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and success metrics, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive the technical requirements gathering process during discovery sessions with healthcare clients, translating clinical and operational needs into robust technical solutions.
- Stay updated on new Salesforce Health Cloud and Data Cloud features, releases, and healthcare industry trends, continuously bringing innovative solutions to the table.
- Conduct technical solution reviews and architecture meetings with customers and Penrod teams to ensure alignment with healthcare compliance requirements and quality standards.
What we look for
- Have 5+ years of experience in a Salesforce consulting or development role, with 3+ years of Health Cloud experience and 2+ years of Data Cloud experience.
- Are proficient in Salesforce configuration and customization using Lightning, Flow Builder, Data Loader, and other declarative tools.
- Have a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, patient care management, provider collaboration, and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR).
- Are experienced in working with healthcare systems integrations (EMR/EHR, HIE, lab systems) and can troubleshoot complex healthcare data flows.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey technical information to healthcare professionals and IT stakeholders.
- Hold Salesforce Certified Health Cloud Consultant and Data Cloud Consultant certifications.
- Are familiar with healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, GDPR) and security frameworks.
- Have experience with various healthcare technologies like Epic, Cerner, Athena Health, or other EMR systems.
- Possess additional Salesforce certifications such as System Architect, Integration Architecture Designer, or Platform App Builder.
- Have experience with MuleSoft, Tableau, Einstein Analytics, Marketing Cloud, AgentForce, or other relevant tools.
- Have prior experience with population health management, value-based care, or patient engagement initiatives.
